I have had a busy start to the new year! For the most part, I have been in the midst of Consumer Electronics Show (CES) madness. At
bLife, we were preparing for the CES launch of our
GPS for the Soul app, which was created in partnership with
The Huffington Post and HeartMath. Below is a photo from CES of the partners, with bLife's co-founders and co-CEOs Paul Campbell and Hamet Watt on the right.
It was a crazy first time for me to be in Las Vegas, with thousands of people attending CES. And although I was running around for meetings and work most of the time, I managed to have an opportunity to do a bit of sightseeing one night. I walked to the Fountains of Bellagio with a friend from Montreal who was also in town for CES (pictured below) and had drinks at The Chandelier bar at The Cosmopolitan.
These past couple weeks I have also participated in a few other events (photos below), including
Silicon Beach LA's Weekly Unwind at The Bungalow, the
White House Equal Futures App Challenge Workshop, and
Women 2.0 Founder Friday - Los Angeles.

As a volunteer at the White House Equal Futures App Challenge Workshop, I was able to hear girls as young as 12 years old tell their incredible stories about their involvement in technology and interest in the political realm. Then, at the Women 2.0 Founder Friday - Los Angeles event, I heard Allison Beal present her founding story of StyleSaint; as a passionate speaker and entrepreneur, she was truly inspiring. This year is certainly off to a great start!
